Terroir: Clay-siliceous hillsides located west of Chinon, it comes from our vines grouped around the family house of Saint Louans. This terroir has been passed down from generation to generation since the 15th century by Bertrand's maternal family. According to legend, Saint Louans healed the sick with a glass of wine.
Vinification: Manual and mechanical harvest. Harvest at full maturity. Total destemming, sorting table. Fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats. MATURING Aging in vats until bottling. Traditional cork stopper.
Serving: Best served at 15° to 17°C
Bottling: April following the harvest.
Aging Potential: 7 to 20 years old. Brings a lot of pleasure in its youth, but will gain in complexity over the years.

Tasting: This wine has a deep purple colour, we find an alliance between aromatic complexity and a presence silky tannic. This wine will go perfectly with all types of grilled or roasted meats.
